Our events and professional probono work
Since its foundation, OIPP has been known as the most prominent civil association in protocol education and publication.
The membership consists of about 150-200 members who are all active professionals in protocol, diplomacy, international relations, communication, event management and education.
Many of our members have been teaching at universities for decades and also, they keep sharing their knowledge within our community.
We publish short articles on all of our professional activities whether teaching or holding a protocol event – that can be viewed / read in Hungarian.

We host monthly events – lectures, roundtable discussions for our members and students at the prestigious building of the Ministry of Finance.

Protocol and Diplomacy Exhibition
We are proud of our traveling Protocol and Diplomacy Exhibition presenting over 1000 pieces of authentic objects used in protocol and diplomatic events. This exhibition is the first and only collection displaying all protocol fields – State, Diplomatic, Sport, Military and Religious Protocol, together with sections showcasing object in Protocol Catering, Spouse Programs and Gift-Giving Protocol.

Finance
The Association is financed by the yearly membership fees but it also accepts material support from partners with whom we sign letter of cooperation.
In return for the offered services / products (e.g. catering, venue facilities, lectures held by non-members etc.) we provide protocol trainings and support these sponsors with protocol guidance and professional advising.
Besides the annaul fees, in 2021 and 2023 OIPP submitted and won the national tenders of Bethen Gábor Foundation intended to support the general operation and the professional work of the Hungarian civil associations.
In 2021 OIPP received 1 400 000 HUF which was implemented for administrational and operational costs (accounting, monthly event management, catering, photograpy, IT services, exhibition etc.).
In 2023 OIPP OIPP received 1 250 000 HUF that was also allocated to only operational costs (accounting, monthly event management, catering, photograpy, IT services etc.).
